Antique St. Louis

A beautifully formed red double clematis stands out against a stunning blue and white jasper ground. Of the three most prolific French paperweight makers, St. Louis was the only one to use a jasper ground. This is another example of the patriotism displayed by the workers of this factory, making paperweights in red, white and blue, the colors of the flag. Condition: Excellent.
