Perthshire Paperweights

This is a very early version of the large millefiori paperweight, PP1, produced each year when Perthshire Paperweights Ltd. was in operation. In the very beginning, the PP1, such as this one was NOT signed. For a Perthshire collector this is a great example of one of their earliest paperweights. Fire polshed base. Beautiful cane colors in this weight are contrasted against a dark amethyst ground. Condition: Hardly noticeable small "bull's eye" on the side and very slight scratches on the dome do not interfere with the overal beautiful appearence of this paperweight.
