Baccarat produced a series of "Gridel" paperweights using the animal silhouette canes that were used in the nineteenth century. This weight has a large swan cane in the center surrounded by 17 smaller Gridel canes. The design is set on a white fillagree ground. It is signed "B 1974." Condition: Excellent
